Not to bad.....lots of boo boos but I don't care, no one can tell unless they are really close and frankly only one person will be close enough to notice and he doesn't care.

Sewing

Notes to self:

When sewing for the first time in seven or eight years.....Don't try to make own bias tape.....especially if it has to be 1/4 inch bias tape.......it might make you swear.

Music

Today in church I was sitting between George and Tayler. We started singing a song and it just hit me, the spirit and motherly love combined with music touched my soul today.

Now before anyone gets excited and starts thinking of things you can bring to me so I can turn it to gold for you......keep reading.

Enter Christmas morning:

We woke, we unwrapped, we smiled had fun, ate breakfast (usually german pancakes....yum), we played games, we ate junk....... you get it. Normal Christmas morning. I Love Christmas and I love Christmas morning. I love the feeling of love we all have.

Anywho George bought me a sewing machine for Christmas (I got it before Christmas and it is a story all on it's own). I have never had a sewing machine all my own so I am way excited! Christmas day after all the morning excitement I decided to look online for some fun ideas (I found some really fun things by the way). It was getting late, we were going to head to Sid and Connie's so I clicked off all my links, when all of a sudden the computer let me know that we had a virus......blah blah blah......long story short, I can find a virus anywhere any time, so if you want gold you will have to go to someone else but if you would like a virus I'm your gal.

As a matter of fact I dare you to go check out some fun craft sites and see, just see if you can get a virus....... I bet you can't :) Maybe be kind and tell me where you go for all your ideas and I will go there too and hopefully(fingers crossed) not get a virus.

Christmas Break

When I was little my Mom would have us do spring cleaning. We would clean everywhere. The fridge was the most hated for me, and that is why it is a rare day when I WANT to clean my fridge. I caught a bug and off we all went.

It really didn't take long and we had it done. It wasn't even as bad as I thought it would be. Kind of like getting a shot.

The finished fridge looks so nice. No more "Science experiments"...... Yay for the cleaning bug, it felt good and now my fridge looks good.

OUCH!

2 Thousand 4 Hundred Miles

This year for Thanksgiving we decided that we would go to Nevada to be with Hope and my family.

We headed out Monday night and got home Sunday night. We drove and drove. Believe it or not the driving was not the hightlight of the week. I had so much fun being with my family. I love my Brothers and Sisters and all of the in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time with Hope, she had to work so we had two late evenings with her and Thanksgiving day. We were also able to see Grandma Blake also, it was a nice visit.

I love being around family. We laugh we watch our kids get together and just have fun.

We ended the trip with a visit with my good friend. We get along just like sisters.....counting friends I am very blessed with a great family.
