State Lego Robotics Competition

Last Saturday, we all went to the State Lego Robotic's Competion. They chose to do it at a high school that was very huge, but needed way more parking. Along with the Lego competion, the high school had its activities going on, like soccer games, and play practices. So there was absolutely no parking. We ended up parking on the street.

Tayler and his team were very excited, and did well, but not as well as they thought they would. I think the main problem was their nerves. Having the anouncer dude call out everything you are doing, and having a crowd of people around to watch, can tend to make a 12 year old very nervous.

During the awards assembly, they gave every team member a medal. Then they proceeded to hand out the other awards. Tayler and his team got the young team award.

Here they are with their trophy made out of lego's.

Here they are again cheering. They were very excited to get an award!

Way Cool!!! That's so awesome. State, whatever your placing, is still STATE! So is the club over until next year or is it year long? What's next on the robot to do list? Congrats Tayler!

That is so cool!!! Did you think about how appropriate getting the "young" award is? Not only are they young, but there are 3 "Youngs" in the team!!! Very NEAT!!!
