AHHHH Mommyhood

This has been a fun experience, or funny for me to watch. Jackie has had to get up at night with her baby and everything. In the video she found out the baby needed it's diaper changed after she tried the bottle first.

I got home from work and she had spent 20 minutes trying to get the baby to burp, she missed out on popcorn and other goodies because she had to get the baby to burp. Maybe that is why I was skinny when my children were little :)

She has to keep a schedule of everything too. So she has had a busy weekend. The funniest part so far was when we were at church everyone did a double take when she walked in with a baby in a car seat :) The baby made it to the closing song in sacrament meeting then he started crying, Jackie was kind of funny and I was just trying to get her to take the diaper bag and go out but she was just trying to get him to be quiet in the chapel, so it was kind of funny and we started laughing and then we notice our chorister (a YW in our ward) was trying really hard not to laugh. Too funny.

It will be so long to Cade at school on Monday. I really won't miss the little crying baby and I know Jackie won't for sure.

Jackie's Baby

Just so you know, Jackie is writing this post. :)

So one of my classes in school is intro. to child care. While taking the class, you are required to take home a computerized baby to take care of. You could either choose to do it during the weekdays, or weekends (which is what i chose). So i will have the baby until Monday, then i will turn it back in.

Before i signed up for this date to take the baby, i didn't know that track would start up this week. So i ended up taking the baby to track for 2 and 1/2 hours. It cried 3 times and I had to stop what I was doing to go and take care of it. Luckily my friend couldn't do track that day so she would sit by it and tell me if it was crying. I kept hoping that it would cry while we were doing the hard stuff, but it only cried while we were stetching (Darn it :) ).

Below is a picture of the wrist band that i have to wear so that the baby know that it is me taking care of it and nobody else. If anyone tries to take care of it, it will continue to cry. It's water proof and i am not alowed to take it off.

So this is what i am going to be doing over the weekend. Taking care of a robot baby!!! Yay!! lol

I forgot to tell you, it is a he, and his name is Cade. I didn't name him, the teacher did.

Gorgeous Day!

Yesterday and today have been the prettiest days so far this year! The sun finally came out and even some flowers were blooming. It feels so warm outside! I just love it. The last picture is a birds nest that looked kind of cool, so Jackie took a picture of it.

Different tag

This one is different.

10 years ago........Emma was a baby and it was around this time my parents were getting ready to leave on a mission. I was to take care of all of their financial life and take care of their trailer court. Boy does that bring back memories. Not all good :) It was a good experience though, it taught me that some things happen and there is not one thing you can do about it so just breath and do the best you can. If the world is frowning at you, it really doesn't matter. Family matters and that is all.

Things on my to do list today.....Laundry, work, FHE, homework, dinner.......

Snacks I enjoy.......Gooey caramely really bad for me snacks, I love snickers, twix, Ice cream...... I also love salty things, salt and vinegar chips, chex party mix, pickles. I do eat some snacks that are good for me...... I love a good apple, carrot sticks, cheese sticks, pineapple, tomatoes that are right off vine, avocados..... I could talk all day about snacks :)

What would I do if I were suddenly a billionare........ First off I think I would cry and then start singing some rediculous song, like something from sound of music:) Then I would call a travel agent :) Go shopping :) You know, just spend it, of course :)

3 of my bad habits........1) My foot is always in my mouth 2) I am really lazy 3) I can't think of a third, but that does not mean I don't have one:)

5 places I have lived......Utah and Oregon. I haven't lived in five places

5 jobs that I have had.......I was a bagger at Thiftway, a checker at Thriftway, I worked in a lab for liquadry, I repair chipped windshields, and I have been a gopher (go for), a chef, a taxi service, a cheerleader, a laundress..........

5 things people might not know about me.......Lets see, uuuuummmmm I am YW President in our ward, I uuuuummmm..........................think I have filled out tooooo many of these things for you to be surprised by anything I write so I will leave it at that.

I tag Heidi, Stephanie, Kandi and any one else who feels the urge to do this hint hint Stacey wink wink

When it rains it pours

Ok this blog is depressing!! To me!!!

Sunday I had a presidency meeting at my house, we are talking and brainstorming and all the wonderful things we do for our youth, when I saw something fall from our ceiling. Was it just my imagination? Was it a spider? So instead of alarming everyone I did what I do best in bad situations, I totally ignored it :)

Well it wasn't spider, it was a nice lovely (are you ready for this) DROP OF WATER!!!! Falling from my ceiling. So yes folks we have a leak. Does any one want to run away from home with me? I just want to bury my head in the sand somewhere or something. Surely this is NOT happening. But it is so I will be doing a little roofing this spring and summer, Yay for me!!!

Ok so this is even MORE depressing, to me!!!!

Monday I get home from work, and our house is really cold (colder than on my previous post). So George in a calm sweet manner ran around checking things out, well apparently our heat pump had decided to quit working. So I am thinking this is just FABULOUS, who doesn't like bad news two days in a row????? I don't know about you guys but I love it (bury head in sand),so here I am sitting here sharing my whoa's with you all. If I run away from home, who would like me to come visit them :) INDEFINITLY ;)

Today we found out that we have a leak in our heat pump so we are having that fixed. George thinks that because we had snow on our roof, it built up a dam that let the melting water seep under our shingles? We are supposed to get a ton of ran today so I guess we will see :)

Hope nobody else it getting poured on, it just isn't fun.
